Drought Recovery Webinar Series

Published on Thursday, April 9, 2020

Join this week's webinar with special guests Neil Bateup and Stephen Stafford-Bush.

Find out what Industry have been doing, what business and technical advice is available during the classification of a drought and what new supports are being developed and offered to our farmers.

Neil Bateup is the Chair of the Waikato & South Auckland Primary Industry Adverse Events Cluster, National Chair of Rural Support and the Chair of Waikato Hauraki Coromandel Rural Support Trust.

Neil is also a diary farmer in North Waikato so really understands the pressures of farming through a drought.

Stephen, a chartered accountant will be able to share some of the financial supports available through Government, IRD and your accountants. He will be available to answer questions and point you in the right direction.

* As these are only short sessions, if you have any questions regarding drought recovery matters, please feel free to send your questions through prior to ensure they can be answered on the day - questions can be sent to events@ruralsupport.org.nz. Please use the webinar title in the heading of the email.*

Never been on a webinar? No problem, we will be there to guide you through the process.
