Time Out Tour - Tikorangi, Taranaki

Tuesday 28 May | 6.00pm - 10.00pm | Clifton Rugby & Sports Club

The Rural Support Trust, in proud partnership with ANZ, BayleysBDODatatamars LivestockFonterra, and Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), are excited to bring the Time Out Tour  to Tikorangi in May 2024.

The Taranaki Rural Support Trust has teamed up with Rural Mental Health Advocates Matt Chisholm, Kane Brisoce and Dr Angela McGregor to bring you the Time out Tour panel event.

Introducing our panel:

Dr Angela McGregor, Kane Briscoe and Kenzie Bellringer

Dr Angela McGregor is a Medical Doctor who has recently worked in Te Puna Waiora, the Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Te Whatu Ora Taranaki (formerly the Taranaki District Health Board) and who has had a long-time interest in Mental Health. She is particularly interested in gender stereotypes, and how these stereotypes impact the health behaviours of men and women.

Dr McGregor has facilitated online group courses (including Men Matters, a 6-week course for farming men), webinar series, and 1:1 coaching to give clients new perspectives on what’s holding them back and to propel them to take different next steps to create their dream life.

Kenzie Bellringer grew up on a 14 acre lifestyle block in Inglewood where she spent her time competitively riding horses into her late teens. Although she is an automotive painter by trade, her heart lies in farming, and she currently runs her own Ag Relief business working in the wider Inglewood area as a casual farm hand and relief milker, while driving tractors for a local contractor over the hay/silage season. Kenzie has been an active member of Inglewood Young Farmers for over 10 years, holding the role of Chairperson multiple times and playing a big part in Young Farmers events not only in Taranaki, but in the wider Taranaki/Manawatu region. When she’s not on farm or in the cowshed, you’ll find her target shooting at NZ Black Powder events, four wheel driving, competing in demolition derby’s or simply enjoying time with her family, friends and dog Jaz.

Kane Brisco is a Taranaki father of three, Husband, Dairy Farmer, Rural advocate, Public Speaker, Personal Trainer and alongside a successful farming career, in 2019 he established Farm Fit NZ as a fitness class for his local rural community, it has since expanded into an online community of nearly 20,000 who subscribe to Kane’s tips and advice on mental and physical wellbeing. Alongside this Kane has also created fundraising initiatives and challenges for charities raising a total of $28,000 for I Am Hope and Will To Live as well as writing his own book , Tools for The Top Paddock – Lessons from Life on the Land in 2022.
