Shear 4 A Cause - New Zealand's biggest Shear-A-Thon. Moa Flat, Central Otago

Sheep, shearers, and mucking in to raise money for six of New Zealand's leading charities - you can't get more Kiwi than that!

The rural sector is uniting again to support our communities in need.

Introducing ‘Shear for a Cause’, New Zealand's biggest shear-a-thon.

Sheep, shearers, and mucking in to raise money for six of New Zealand's leading charities - you can't get more Kiwi than that!

Attended by hundreds, viewed by thousands, sponsored by some of the country's leading organisations, hosted by Matt Chisholm (RST Time Out Tour) and live streamed for 24 hours – it’s going to be huge.

In 2022, the event raised more than $200k for the Southland Charity Hospital.

Taking place on Waitangi weekend next year, it will be our most significant effort yet! Don’t miss out; jump on board and make a difference!

The event will be held at Wohelo Station, Moa Flat in Central Otago.

The Rural Support Trust is excited to be involved in the 2023 event.

More details to come.
