Surviving the Dry BBQ - Reporoa Golf Club, Waikato

Tuesday 25 March - 11am

Take some time out, grab a bit and catch up with other farmers.   Over lunch, you will hear from experts with practical ways to manage through the dry and set up for Autumn and Winter.

Connect with others, share ideas and take home actionable solutions.

Feed on hand vs feed required, what about wintering and when it rains, using supplements wisely, milking frequency, animal health and welfare, staying connected, reducing demand, BCS – there is a lot to consider!  A problem shared is a problem halved.  Come along and join in on discussions with other farmers as we take a closer look at the current situation and explore tactics to mitigate risk to your business.  The differences in farm systems and circumstances are vast however, implementing a range of options will help towards getting back in control.
