Their program uses volunteer coaches who provide 30 min-60 min sessions, up to 2-3 times a week, over the internet or phone. We believe that everyone should have access to the literacy help they need to learn, grow, and succeed, regardless of their location or financial situation.

Improved literacy levels can make a significant impact on an individual's quality of life, providing them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. By working together, we can help improve literacy levels in our communities and empower individuals to reach their full potential.

The Rural Youth and Adult Literacy Trust is a non-profit organisation that assists adults and teenagers living in rural areas (or who are otherwise isolated) with literacy and numeracy. Tuition is free and our tutors can coach you over the phone or Skype. There is nowhere in New Zealand that is too far away for us to help you.
