The Otago Rural Support are on the hunt for new trustees. This is a voluntary role working collaboratively with the board to provide oversight, governance, and strategic guidance to the Otago Trust and will be replacing recently retired trustees.
Trustees play a vital role in the sustainability and future of the Trust ensuring the Trust work aligns to its purpose and values and achieves its long-term vision and remains financially sustainable.
The Trust is looking for people with an affinity and connections within rural communities and ideally with previous board or not for profit experience. Applications are welcome from all areas within Otago but to ensure a geographical spread they are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the Clutha and Maniatoto areas.
If you are interested in finding out more or applying, the full details can be found on Seek or by emailing otago@ruralsupport.org.nz. Applications close 30th March 2026.
