Trinity Lands partnership strengthens rural support in Waikato

Trinity Lands partnership strengthens rural support in Waikato

Waikato Rural Support Trust has welcomed a new partnership with Trinity Lands that will help strengthen the support available to rural people and families across the region.

The partnership marks the beginning of an ongoing relationship between the two organisations, built around a shared commitment to supporting people and strengthening rural communities.

Trinity Lands is a purpose-driven farming and horticulture business owned by three charitable trusts, with a long history of investing profits back into community initiatives.

Its support will give Waikato Rural Support Trust greater flexibility to respond to people experiencing challenging circumstances and provide practical, personalised assistance where it can make the greatest difference.

Waikato Rural Support Trust Chair Neil Bateup said having the backing of an organisation so closely connected with rural communities was particularly meaningful.

“Having Trinity Lands stand alongside us gives our team more options when clients are facing difficult circumstances,” he said.

“Their support will help us respond in practical and meaningful ways that may not otherwise have been possible. We are deeply thankful for their generosity.”

The partnership comes as the Trust continues to support rural people facing a wide range of pressures, with circumstances often requiring an individual response rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

Ongoing support also gives the Trust greater confidence to plan ahead and respond as the needs of rural communities change.

Trinity Lands chief executive Dave Turner said the business is grateful to partner with Waikato Rural Support Trust and support the important work they do within rural communities.

“This partnership reflects our shared care for rural people and families, and enables us to contribute to the Trust’s practical, confidential support for those facing challenging times.”

Waikato Rural Support Trust Coordinator Wanda Leadbeater said the partnership was also a strong example of what could be achieved when rural and community organisations worked together.

“We’re incredibly grateful that Trinity Lands has chosen to stand alongside us for the longer term. It’s a partnership that will make a very real difference to the people we support.”

Waikato Rural Support Trust looks forward to continuing to build its relationship with Trinity Lands and working together to support resilient rural people, families and communities.
