Come and enjoy a special day out at Gibbs Farm, set against the stunning Kaipara Harbour. This world-renowned sculpture park is rarely open to the public, and we’re excited to welcome you to explore its incredible art and landscapes.

Bring your friends, pack a picnic, and wander among the sculptures and animal park. It’s a chance to connect, relax, and experience something truly unique – all while supporting the important work of Rural Support Te Tai Tokerau.

What You Can Expect

Explore at your own pace
Take your time wandering the park with a site map and sculpture guide provided when you arrive.

Breathtaking views & world-class art
Enjoy stunning sculptures set against the backdrop of the Kaipara Harbour – it’s a sight you won’t forget.

Meet the animals
From giraffes to emus, you’ll get to see some of Gibbs Farm’s unique residents along the way.

Time needed
We recommend allowing 2–3 hours to make the most of your visit.

What to bring
Comfortable walking shoes, a jacket or coat, sunscreen, and a water bottle will help you enjoy the day.

Terrain
The walk takes you across rolling farmland and paved tracks. A moderate level of fitness is best.

Facilities & parking
Toilets are available and clearly marked in your visitor booklet. Upon arrival staff will direct you to carpark areas.

Food & drink
Bring a picnic and enjoy the view. Remember to take your rubbish with you.

We will be selling tickets for an exciting prize draw including awesome prizes such as a weekend retreat BnB in Houhora (valued at $800), 2 x Kaiwaka Clothing women's weathershield camo jacket (RRP$175 each) plus more! Tickets available for $5 each via the ticketing link or on the day.

  • Show your ticket to our team on arrival.
  • Gibbs Farm is private property – please read the terms of access before your visit.
  • Keep a close eye on children around the lakes, ponds, and animals.
  • The event will go ahead rain or shine, so dress for the weather.
  • All ticket proceeds support Rural Support Te Tai Tokerau.
